Violet Oon's Kitchen

One of Singapore's leading food gurus, Violet Oon is known as much for her cooking as for her opinions on food. She's considered a leading authority on Asian cuisine and her own speciality is the Nonya cuisine of Singapore. Her reputation as a chef and food specialist spans the international arena and she often represents Singapore as a food Ambassador abroad. We were tasked to relaunch the Violet Oon's brand in the form of a new restaurant. We set out to create something modern and relevant for Singapore's competitive and vibrant food scene, at the same time retaining the Peranakan's classicism.
