Animated Stickers for
Google Gboard
I was asked by Google to create a set of animated stickers for their virtual keyboard app Gboard. The goal was to create a character, that embodies different moods and emotions that people would want to send each other during chats. It also had to be suitable for audiences all around the world, unique in it´s own way and be of a small file size.

First we had to find the right character. It had to be suitable for a global audience, fun, sympathetic, and not too hard to animate. We went through a couple of different drafts, all of them representing different moods and attitudes.

After confirming the final character we started working on animating 24 different dances. These were supposed to reflect certain moods and comments during a usual chat.
From „You didn´t!“ to „C´mon let´s get out!“,
„Partytime!“ and „I´m feeling silly!".
